GP09:
New Insights Into Earth's Properties and Processes From Electrical Conductivity Studies

Description:
Electrical conductivity studies provide valuable constraints on the composition, temperature, hydrology, and rheology of Earth. A broad range of electric and electromagnetic techniques are employed to estimate conductivity at scales ranging from microscopic to global. These techniques are routinely applied to deep mantle, tectonic, environmental, archeological, exploration, and geothermal problems. We welcome submissions that cover all aspects of electrical conductivity, including theoretical, numerical and laboratory studies, field experiments, as well as case studies applying novel approaches or integration with other geophysical techniques
